Medium lidded box
Hand built, textured slab, medium lidded box. Organic shape. Blue celadon glaze exterior and white interior. Could be used for storing loose-leave tea or coffee beans.
While I was quarantined in my bedroom for 10 days, sick with Covid-19, I was pretty bored. I watched a lot of pottery videos, one of which was a demo by Ching Yuan Chang on making textured boxes. My family brought some basic supplies to the bedroom for me, and I had some fun trying this new technique and form.
Because this was a learning piece, directly copied from Ching Yuan Chang, and not my own design, all proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to the Support the AAPI Community Fund.
